CEREBRAL PALSY SPORTS SELECTION TRAIL

Akkara foundation conducted cerebral palsy sports trail program. 30 members participated in this program. From ACAPY 3 people came to Akkara foundation.
Akkara foundation conducted school bag distribution program. The school bag distribution was done by Mr. RAVINDRAN P (DPC. SSK), PRAKASAN (BPC. BRC KASARAGOD). 80 people participated in the event.
As a part of world schizophrenia day observation a session was taken by Ms. ATHIRA M (Pursuing MSC Psychology, clinical and counselling intern SDM PG CENTRE, UJIRE) On the topic connecting with hope. 40 members participated in the program. The program was organized by department of psychology in Akkara Foundation.
National endangered species day was conducted by MSW trainee ROJITH M (Don Bosco College). The program was inaugurated by Mr. SHIVAKIRTHI K (Beast Forest Officer). 25 people participated in the event.
Akkara Foundation in association with Learn Autism Network organized a free certified international webinar on “the importance of Autism education to achieve best possible outcomes” for all medical and allied health science students, professionals and parents of children diagnosed with ASD. DR. STEPHAN SHORE (co-founder learn autism self-advocate and professor of special education at boston Adelphi university, united states) and SARAH NORRIS (Ms.OTR/L Presenter at learn Autism, owner and lead occupational therapist at the sensory coach) was the resource persons in the program. MR. MUHAMMAD YAZIR N, JISNA LAXMAN, JEN JOJI was the coordinators of the event.
Akkara Foundation conducted a program based on “Team Dynamics”. The session was led by Mr. V G HARISH KUMAR. 50 members were participated in the program. Team dynamics in the work place are important because they impact creativity, productivity and effectiveness.
Akkara Foundation celebrated mother’s day. Akkara Foundation in association with department of social work, central university of Kerala. This event was inaugurated by Sr. Pavitra CMC (principal of sangeo central school paduppu). Ms. Sulekha (social activit) was the guest of honor at the event. 50 people attended the event.
Established in 2018, Akkara Foundation Bekal is a Non-profitable Organization based at Bekal in Kasaragod District of Kerala. The trust has been formed primarily to initiate medical and psycho-social assistance in the upliftment of physically and mentally challenged individuals.
