Akkara Foundation and Spastic Association jointly coordinated Zilla sports selection camp for National CP Athletics at Green Woods School on 5/03/2023, more than 20 differently abled candidates participated for various sports event from that 6 people got selected to the next level.
Akkara Foundation in association with CRC Kozhikode organized ADIP evaluation camp for special need children at Akkara Foundation Centre, Kasaragod .The professionals from CRC Kozhikode conducted the detailed screening and evaluation of 50 special need children with various kind of disability and charted the devices according to their necessity.

Akkara Foundation in association with KISWA Foundation jointly organized a palliative volunteer training at Uduma Grama Panchayat .Akkara Foundation Palliative team gave a detailed orientation about palliative home care and conveyed the importance and role of volunteers in palliative care .The session was led by Mr.Subin K (Project Coordinator ) .There were 30 volunteer participants to whom the training was provided and KISWA Foundation announced their all participation in the palliative and community development activities .
Akkara Foundation in association with NSS unit, Government College, Kasaragod students observed world cancer day through accompanying the palliative team to cancer patients home and through gifting them a token of love for their courage and spend time with the patients and their bystanders.

It has the capacity to touch every soul, including those of children with special needs, and it can be an incredible tool in the education and socialization of children with special needs. So as part of empowerment and skill development, Akkara Foundation Started a RHYTHM music studio to train the special need children .On 28/1/2023 Mr .Akhil J Chand (playback singer) inaugurated the rhythm music studio, there were more than 100 participants for the inauguration ceremony as many cultural programs was also presented by special need children and their parents.

Akkara Foundation initiated Community Psychiatry Clinic in association with Thanal Rehabilitation centre for the welfare of psychiatric patients in Kasaragod district. Akkara Palliative care unit provides home based medical care to the people suffering from cancer, strokes and especially bed ridden patients. So as part of Kerala Palliative day celebration Akkara Foundation introduced a new van for the palliative care unit in order to extent the services to the needy at the remotest area of Kasaragod district , The official inauguration was done by Mr. Shanavas Padhoor(vice-president,Kasaragod District panchayat).
