The king of Magic Mr.Gopinath Muthukad did a surprise visit to Akkara Foundation on 5/05/2023 along with his team .It Will be golden moment in the history of Akkara Foundation ,as Mr.Gopinath Muthukad interacted with the children and visited whole institution and shared his feedback and invited all the Akkara Family members to the Kanhangad to  his new school opening  curtain raiser for special need children .

Akkara Foundation in association with Aster Mims, Kannur, KISWA Foundation and Uduma Grama Panchayat organized a free medical camp at Noorul Hudha English Medium School Kottikulam .Aster Mims offered various services like Neurology, General Medicine, Orthopedic, Eye specialist, ENT, Pluse and BP test .Around 200 people visited the camp and acquired the services .The camp was inaugurated by Uduma Grama Panchayat President.

Akkara Foundation in association with Aster Mims, Kannur and Delampady Grama Panchayat organized a free medical camp at Sir Syed English Medium School..Aster Mims offered various services like Neurology, General Medicine, Orthopedic, Eye specialist, ENT, Pluse and BP test .Around 200 people visited the camp and acquired the services .The camp was inaugurated by Delampady Grama Panchayat President.

Akkara Foundation in association with Aster Mims, Kannur and Kumbadaje Grama Panchayat organized a free medical camp at GJBS School Kumbadaje .Aster Mims offered various services like Neurology, General Medicine, Orthopedic, Eye specialist, ENT, Pluse and BP test .Around 200 people visited the camp and acquired the services .The camp was inaugurated by Kumbadaje Grama Panchayat President Mr. Hammed P.

Step up camp is the camp organized by special education and psychology department for the children during their summer vacation .The main aim of the camp was to help the children to improve their academics, skills and self-esteem .Through step up camp 15 children were given with individual care, that is children with learning difficulty,LD,ID,CP Syndrome and general school going  children were considered as individuals and helped them to improve the area where they were backward . Camp also promoted them to sharpen their hidden talents and skills through learning and practicing dance, songs, acting, sports and games. The professional also took efforts to involve their parents in their children daily activities, as various activities and games were made to perform in order to build the companionship and bond between parents and children .

Akkara Foundation as part of respecting the religious diversity celebrated the IFTAR with the special need children, their parents, staffs and community people on 4/4/2023 evening. The special guest of the IFTAR party was Mr.P B Shafeek Razak(Dist.Pancahayt Member Delampady  Division ).Akkara Family members  gathered together , shared and had food together after breaking fasting .

Under the joint patronage of Akkara Foundation and Aster Mims, Kannur a free Neurology special camp was organized at Akkara Foundation Centre. The camp offered various services like Pediatric Neurologist service, Medical Mobile Bus, ECG & BP test, Pulse checkup, Eye Examination and Blood test .Beneficiaries from various parts of Kasaragod and South Canara districts of Karnataka consulted and accrued services from the camp, there were a total of 80 participants in the camp. After the camp the MIMS team and Akkara Foundation professional had an interactive session to discuss about the highlights of the camp and also handed over a token of love to the Dr.Heena Shaikh (Senior Specialist Pediatric Neurology)

C P Shihab visted Akkara foundation,kottor on 28/03/2023  has part of his journey” smile journey to the hearts “ from Trivandrum to Kasaragod ” for the   self-empowerment of the disabled community all over Kerala and to help & motivate the disabled people to be self-employed and self-sufficient and thereby to show their smile to the whole  world  . C P Shihab was given a warm welcome my Mr.Mohammed Yasir (Manager,Akkara Foundation,Kottor) on behalf of whole Akkara Family .Mr.C P Shihab  gave a thought provoking speech and took initiative in interacting with the parents and staffs at the situation .As part of the token of love Mr.Shihab was presented with a painting done  by Mr.Devadathan M who is an CP patient   .The program winded up with wishes  of Mrs.Sulekha and Mr.Moideen . The whole Akkara family wished him all the success for his new journey and showered him with lots of love.

Akkara Foundation and CRC Kozhikode jointly organized two day CRE conference for the Speech –Language Pathologists and Special Educators professionals at the Akkara Foundation Centre, Kasaragod. Various professionals from various parts of south India participated in the two day conference

Akkara Foundation celebrated children’s day with the mothers of special need children .The Psychology and Social Work Department jointly organized various programs and honored all women in the family through giving a token of love and by making them realize that they are the strongest women in   the earth.
