No smoking Day Exhibition | At Akkara Foundation

Akkara foundation celebrated the republic day. The flag was hoisted by the Aneesa Mansoor Mallath ward member of Muliyar. 30 people attended the republic day event.

As part of world CP day observation parental session by Dr.Easwar T R (Consultant Paediatric Orthopedic Surgeon) was organized for the parents at the institution in order to spread a general awareness on CP and its various interventions and to clarify the doubts of the parents regarding various disabilities

Akkara Foundation introduced own website. Asin velimanna inaugurated the official website of Akkara Foundation. A website helps create awareness about the agency. The event was attended 80 people.

The Inauguration of speech therapy department was conducted by Raj Mohan Unnithan (MP). In this program there were 80 participants participated in the occasion. Speech therapy is the evolution and treatment of speaking problems and speech disorders. 

Various programs were conducted for children and parents in connection with the celebration. Tree making, star hanging, and water filling in bottle competitions were held. Programme was held in 22/12/2021.

Akkara foundation organized one day Picnic to Vismaya water theme Park on the occasion of national disability day. Majority of parents, staff and children were joined in this picnic. All were able to enjoy the picnic with happiness. Parents forgot all the worries and sadness and enjoyed the day fruitfully. Many of the helping hands were joined together and this dream fulfilled. 

Children’s day is celebrated on November 14 every year in connection with the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Akkara foundation children’s day is celebrated every year with various art events. This year the Legal Services Authority Kasaragod (DLSA) and Akkara foundation jointly celebrated Children’s Day on Monday 15 11 2021 at the Akkara Foundation. Kudumbasree members from different regions of Muliyar Gramma Panchayat participated in the event. About 75

vents were organized for children and parents on October 26 in connection with the Prophet’s Day. Akkara Foundation Project Manager Mr. Mohammed Yasir inaugurated the event. Mrs Diya Sebastian welcomed the event. The event was presided over by Mr. Jinil Raj (Centre Head, Akkara Foundation). Variety of programmes performed by Staff, children and parents on the occasion. All the staffs were actively attended the event.
