Under the joint patronage of Akkara Foundation and Aster Mims, Kannur a free Neurology special camp was organized at Akkara Foundation Centre. The camp offered various services like Pediatric Neurologist service, Medical Mobile Bus, ECG & BP test, Pulse checkup, Eye Examination and Blood test .Beneficiaries from various parts of Kasaragod and South Canara districts of Karnataka consulted and accrued services from the camp, there were a total of 80 participants in the camp. After the camp the MIMS team and Akkara Foundation professional had an interactive session to discuss about the highlights of the camp and also handed over a token of love to the Dr.Heena Shaikh (Senior Specialist Pediatric Neurology)

C P Shihab visted Akkara foundation,kottor on 28/03/2023  has part of his journey” smile journey to the hearts “ from Trivandrum to Kasaragod ” for the   self-empowerment of the disabled community all over Kerala and to help & motivate the disabled people to be self-employed and self-sufficient and thereby to show their smile to the whole  world  . C P Shihab was given a warm welcome my Mr.Mohammed Yasir (Manager,Akkara Foundation,Kottor) on behalf of whole Akkara Family .Mr.C P Shihab  gave a thought provoking speech and took initiative in interacting with the parents and staffs at the situation .As part of the token of love Mr.Shihab was presented with a painting done  by Mr.Devadathan M who is an CP patient   .The program winded up with wishes  of Mrs.Sulekha and Mr.Moideen . The whole Akkara family wished him all the success for his new journey and showered him with lots of love.

Akkara Foundation and CRC Kozhikode jointly organized two day CRE conference for the Speech –Language Pathologists and Special Educators professionals at the Akkara Foundation Centre, Kasaragod. Various professionals from various parts of south India participated in the two day conference

Akkara Foundation celebrated children’s day with the mothers of special need children .The Psychology and Social Work Department jointly organized various programs and honored all women in the family through giving a token of love and by making them realize that they are the strongest women in   the earth.

Akkara Foundation and Spastic Association jointly coordinated Zilla sports selection camp for National CP Athletics at Green Woods School on 5/03/2023, more than 20 differently abled candidates participated for various sports event from that 6 people got selected to the next level.

Akkara Foundation in association with CRC Kozhikode organized ADIP evaluation camp for special need children at Akkara Foundation Centre, Kasaragod .The professionals from CRC Kozhikode conducted the detailed screening and evaluation of 50 special need children with various kind of disability and charted the devices according to their necessity.
