Akkara Thanal Centre for Residential Care for person with disability Centre stone was laid on 25/08/2022 .The Foundation stone laying ceremony for the Residential care was laid by Smt.Mini P V (president Muliyar Grams Panchayat) in the presence of Abdul Aziz Akkara (Chairman, Akkara Foundation), and the chief guest of the ceremony was Dr.Idrees (Chairman, Daya Rehabilitation Trust) .The ceremony was a grand success with the presence of around 200 participants.

Akkara Foundation new palliative office was inaugurated on 25/08/2022 as part of the community extension program and collaborative Centre of Pallium India. The office was inaugurated by Shamema (Medical superintend) by cutting the ribbon in the presence of whole Akkara family.

On behalf of the community extension program MSW trainees from Holy Cross College, Kozhikode and WMO Arts and Science College, Muttil, organized a health mela at Karadka block panchayat, the mela was inaugurated by Mr.Siji Mathew (Karadka Block Panchayat President) and the chief guest of the day was M V Ramadas (DMO, Kasaragod) The mela was conducted by setting up various stalls and the therapist consulted the differently abled children at Karadka Panchayat,around125 participants took part in  the mela.

Akkara foundation in accordance with 75^th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated Independence by hosting the flag at the institution .The flag hosting ceremony was done by the respectful Muliyar panchayat member Shamala, around 40 participants were present for the event the is Akkara staffs,therapists,children and parents.

Akkara foundation organized a sendoff ceremony for Mr. Hameed and Shayam Mohan who has got selection for being a part of Cerebral Palsy National Football Championship to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. The sendoff ceremony was organized at Kasaragod railway station at 5.30pm, and the event was inaugurated by Mr.Habeeb Rahiman P(President District Sports Council Kasaragod ,Former Superintendent of Police and Former SPL Officer),there were around 25 participants for the sendoff ceremony  as all expressed their wishes and prayers for the players .
