Social Work Department mainly works to provide advice, support and resources to individuals and families to help them solve their problems. Social Workers work with specific groups of clients, including children, the elderly and families in crisis, and help them to solve the problems they’re facing. The Social Work Department manages the activities of community extension and palliative care.
We accept volunteer applications on an ongoing basis for a number of positions. We are looking for energetic, creative and motivated individuals to help us enrich the lives of children, youth and their families. Established in 2018, Akkara Foundation Bekal is a Non-profitable Organization based at Bekal in Kasaragod District of Kerala. The trust has been formed primarily to initiate medical and psycho-social assistance in the upliftment of physically and mentally challenged individuals.
