Kumbol Ali Thangal and Muliyar Panchayat President Khalid Bellippady inaugurated the Institute for Child Development under the Kotoor-based Akkara Foundation. A physiotherapy unit with modern amenities, has been established by the initiative of Akkara Foundation which has been working for the benefit of the physically and mentally challenged since last one year. All facilities, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy, suspension therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, special education, advanced assistive technology and Montessori school will be established in the near future. Muliyar panchayat president Khalid Bellipady and former Uduma Constituency MLA Kunhiraman hoisted the flag and read the preamble of the Constitution and expressed the solidarity and respect to the Constitution of India.
