Akkara Foundation celebrated world mental health day on 10th October at the institution, various programs where scheduled for the day such as exhibition, mental health clinic and awareness program. The exhibition was inaugurated by Sri.C Krishna Kumar (Hon.District & Session Judge &Chairman DLSA Kasaragod), several other eminent personality joined such as guests and resource persons Sri.Karunakaran B (Sub Judge &Secretary DLSA Kasaragod), Dr.Rajaram (Superintendent, General Hospital, and Kasaragod) and Smt.Sheeba Mumthaz C K (District Social Justices Officer, Kasaragod. The whole program was coordinated by the psychology department and a huge participants were present for the day at Akkara foundation.
Established in 2018, Akkara Foundation Bekal is a Non-profitable Organization based at Bekal in Kasaragod District of Kerala. The trust has been formed primarily to initiate medical and psycho-social assistance in the upliftment of physically and mentally challenged individuals.
