Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, social & cognitive communication, swallowing disorders and aural rehabilitation in children and adults.

We provide services as listed below:

• Speech Therapy for individuals with speech disorders such as cerebral palsy, syndromes, global developmental delay, cleft lip and palate, childhood apraxia of speech, acquired dysarthria, speech sound disorders, mis-articulations etc.
• Language Therapy for individuals with trouble in understanding others (receptive language), or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language) such as intellectual deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactive disorders, and language delays.
• Fluency Therapy for individuals with disruption in the flow of speech such as stuttering or difficulty in the rate of speech such as cluttering.
• Voice Therapy for individuals with voice and resonance problems which can be congenital or acquired.
• Swallowing Therapy for individuals with feeding and swallowing difficulties, which may follow an illness, surgery, stroke, or injury.

  1. Social Communication Disorders which occurs when a person has trouble with the social use of verbal and nonverbal communication. These disorders may include problems.
  2. Cognitive-Communication Disorders include problems organizing thoughts, paying attention, remembering, planning, and/or problem-solving.
• Aural Rehabilitation for individuals who are diagnosed with hearing loss and use hearing aids, cochlear implants or any hearing assistive technology.
